ICYMI: Julius Vidal, Jun Solon, and Godfrey Rellin carries GMA-7 TV to its first win of the conference after defeating CCTN/RPN-9 DYKC, 69-61, last Sunday.
The trio combined for 60 points with Julius Vidal's tournament-high 30 points while Solon and Rellin had 16 and 14 markers, respectively.
Leonard Asuque had 26 points for the losing side.
GMA-7 improved to 1-2 while the opponent's side fell to 0-2./JS

ICYMI: Organique SunStar/Manila Bulletin/MyTV remains unbeaten as they defeated DYSS Super Radyo/Barangay RT, 68-61, at the Cebu Eastern College gym last Sunday.
Jonas Panerio finished as the game's topscorer with 24 points while Felipe Aniñon added 18 points.
Chum Cal chipped in 14 markers.
Gabriel Bonjoc was the lone double digit scorer for the opposing side with 22.
Team Organique now tops the tournament's win-loss column alongside Cebu Daily News/Bombo Radyo at 2-0 while DYSS/Barangay RT fell to 1-2./JS

ICYMI: Gabriel Bonjoc and Aquiles Gesim combined for 44 points to carry DYSS Super Radyo/Barangay RT over local rival GMA-7 TV, 85-71, last Sunday.
Bonjoc put up 24 points in his conference debut while Gesim added 20 points for the team's first win.
The former finished the game strong with 13 of the team's 24 points in the final quarter.
Gesim started out hot early as he drilled 12 first quarter points as they maintained a steady lead all throughout the game.
The game also saw the winning team's balanced scoring with all of its nine players making at least one basket.
Jun Solon and Julius Vidal had 26 and 20 points, respectively, in a losing cause./JS

ICYMI: Shipping mogul Chester Cokaliong spearheaded Cebu Eastern College Alumni Basketball Association (CECABA) to 98-68 domination against the Newsmen Basketball Association of Cebu (NBAC) Selection Team last Sunday.
Cokaliong led the pack with 29 points including seven three pointers.
By the end of the first half, CECABA were only ahead by four, 45-41. But the home team sparked a 32-point third quarter to establish a big lead until the final buzzer.
Dean Dy Teves added 19 points for CECABA.
On the other hand, Julius Vidal had 25 points with seven triples as well while Johnley Bayking contributed 20 markers in losing efforts./JS

ICYMI: Cebu Daily News/Bombo Radyo earned its second straight win with a 62-50 victory against CCTN/RPN-9 DyKC Cebu at the Cebu Eastern College (CEC) gym last Sunday.
James Savellon scored 17 points while Hakeem Bustamante had 11. Khey Sosmeña had 10
points.
With all 9 players making at least one field goal and adding tight defense, they led all throughout game as the losing team only had a short lead which was during the opening minutes of the game.
Johnley Bayking took almost half of CCTN/DyKC's (0-1) scoring load with 24 points./JS

Julius Vidal had 19 markers for GMA.
Meanwhile, Hakeem Bustamante sank the game winning free throw with 0.6 seconds remaining to help Cebu Daily News/Bombo Radyo escape against DYSS/Barangay RT, 59-58.
He had 13 points while James Savellon top-scored with 15.
Gregy Magdadaro had 13 markers for the losing side./JS
