Re:Fit Wellness Center extends our sincere gratitude to Cebu Kendo Club for giving us the incredible opportunity to share our specialized sport-specific mobility program. We were honored to work with such a dedicated group of martial artists and provide training that complemented their Kendo practice.

Our mobility program focused on two cutting-edge methods - KINSTRETCH and Functional Range Conditioning (FRC). KINSTRETCH combines principles of biomechanics, joint mobility, and motor control to improve functional strength and body control. The FRC system employs a scientific approach to developing resilient ranges of motion tailored to the demands of each sport.

Working closely with the Kendo practitioners, we implemented specific mobility drills to enhance stabilization and three-dimensional control of the joints and muscles heavily utilized in Kendo. Particular attention was given to improving mobility and control of the hips, knees, ankles and upper body – areas that see immense stress during explosive Kendo strikes and movements.

Our goal was to optimize your bodies' ability to move fluidly and powerfully through the sport's intricate footwork patterns, lunges, and sword swings. We aimed to reduce stiffness and risk of injury, while maximizing force production capabilities. Increased mobility and body control equates to more precision, speed, and power on the dojo floor.

Once again, we're so grateful to the Cebu Kendo Club leadership for being open to incorporating new mobility training methodologies. It was an honor to work with such a respectful, hardworking group of martial artists. We hope the mobility work proves invaluable as you continue pursuing mastery of this demanding discipline.

We look forward to more opportunities to collaborate in elevating the mental, physical, and technical capacities of local athletes. Together, we're empowering the community to move better, feel better, and ultimately perform better.
