1.2. Each player must be recommended by a trusted and reliable resident of Purok 3 who can vouch for and guarantee the player’s character and identity.
1.3. Each team must register a maximum of 18 players and a minimum of 8 players before the tournament begins.

πŸ“2. Registration & Game Fees

2.1. Registration Fee: Each team must pay a β‚±2,000 registration fee, which must be fully paid within the team’s first two (2) games.
2.2. Failure to complete the payment within the given timeframe will result in the team not being scheduled for further games until settled within an applicable period.
2.3. In-Game Fee: Each player must pay a β‚±30 fee per game.
2.4. These fees will be used to cover operational expenses, including electricity, personnel, and other necessary costs to sustain the league.

πŸ“3. Game Rules

3.1. Game Duration:

Each game consists of four (4) quarters of 10 minutes running time.

The clock only stops during timeouts and in the last 5 minutes of the 4th quarter (stop-clock rules apply).

3.2. Time-outs: Each team is allowed two (2) time-outs per half (1 minute each). Unused time-outs do not carry over.

3.3. Substitutions & Playing Time:

No substitutions are allowed in the first three (3) quarters.

This rule ensures that all present players get playing time.

If a team has less than 15 players before the start of the 3rd quarter, the opposing team will have the right to choose which player(s) from the other team will play in the 3rd quarter to maintain fairness.

Normal substitution rules will apply in the 4th quarter.

πŸ“4. Player Conduct & Sportsmanship

4.1. Players must respect referees, opponents, and league officials at all times. Any form of verbal or physical misconduct will result in penalties.
4.2. Unsportsmanlike fouls (flagrant fouls, excessive trash-talking, or fighting) may lead to ejection and possible suspension.
4.3. A player accumulating five (5) personal fouls will be disqualified from the game.
4.4. Technical fouls will result in two free throws and ball possession for the opposing team.

πŸ“5. Team & League Structure

5.1. Teams will be grouped based on blocks and will require approval based on recommendations from purok leader/s
5.2. A round-robin format will determine standings, followed by a knockout stage for playoffs. Top 4 teams will advance to the knock out round.
5.3. Standings will be based on win-loss records, with tiebreakers determined by head-to-head results, point differentials, and total points scored.

πŸ“6. Dispute Resolution & Committee Decisions

6.1. The League Committee will oversee disputes and rule violations.
6.2. Any protests must be filed within 24 hours after the game with a formal complaint and supporting evidence.

This Fiesta Basketball League fosters unity, fair play, and discipline among players and the community. All participants are expected to abide by these rules to ensure a fun and competitive tournament.
