Kartzone Superkarting Championship 2025 - Round 3

𝗜𝗻 𝗣𝘂𝗿𝘀𝘂𝗶𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗸𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗪𝗶𝗻 | Intermediate Expert Round 3 Runner-ups

🥈𝗣𝟮 𝗔𝗹𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗼 𝗥𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗼 - Once again, Altheo found himself briefly leading in the Final Heat of Round 3, a flashback to his lead in Round 2 that fell short. His very first Superkarting win was within reach in both Rounds but late overtakes from his competitors in the closing laps kept him from securing it. Still, the experienced has only sharpened his race craft and his eagerness to win continues to fuel his willingness to improve toward that long awaited Superkarting win.

🥉𝗣𝟯 𝗝𝗮𝗻𝘀 𝗔𝗴𝘂𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗮 - Similarly, Jans showed front running pace in Round 3, securing Pole position in the Time Trial just as he did in Round 2. Like Altheo, he’s been steadily chasing his first Superkarting win this 2025 season and his strong performances in both rounds kept him firmly in the fight. Although the elusive Superkarting win slipped away in the closing stages, each round continues to refine his pace, consistency and race craft. Preparing himself to compete against strong drivers at the national level.

🏁𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗡𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗣𝗼𝗱𝗶𝘂𝗺 - 𝗥𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝟯 | Early Setbacks & Early Progress

🥈𝗣𝟮 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗗𝗲 𝗟𝗲𝗼𝗻 - starting at P4, Nathan’s final heat unraveled early after two mistakes dropped him to the back. A tight side‑by‑side line moment with Trooper Ngo forced him into the grass exiting Turn 3 and staying off‑line into Turn 4 left him in a tight, unsettled line, putting himself back into the grass for a second time. With 24 laps remaining, he had no time to dwell on the incident. He regained his focus and steadily worked his way back to P2 in Novice Class. Nathan had better understanding that such incidents do happen in competitive karting.

🥉𝗣𝟯 𝗝𝗿 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗮 - in only his third race, Jr continued building his experience in the category. Still new to competitive karting, he focused on keeping a steady pace and maintaining control throughout the heat. He was able to finish the race without any crashes, a clear improvement from the first round, and secured his first‑ever top‑3 podium. Showing gradual improvement as he gains more experience in competitive karting.

🏁 𝗖𝗮𝗱𝗲𝘁 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘁 𝗣𝗼𝗱𝗶𝘂𝗺 - 𝗥𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝟯 | A thrilling finish + A powerful debut.

🥈P2 Jacob Ravina - a proud racer from Luzon stepping into Kartzone for the first time. Adapted to the track almost instantly, getting close to the ideal lap time in just a short span. With national-race experience behind him, Jacob delivered a steady drive in P3 and snatched P2 when his teammate went off track.

🥉P3 Miura Canete – Miura (a Cebuana driver) has improved tremendously coming into the 2025 Kartzone Superkarting season, now she has the pace to keep up and the guts to attack tiny spaces given. In the Final Heat of Round 3, she launched a fearless attack on Percy Yongco, who was holding P1, never hesitated to go wheel‑to‑wheel. But contact sent her off track, causing her to lose the position to her own teammate.

Both racers proudly representing the Mercedes Driver Development program.

🥈𝗟𝗶𝗮𝗺𝗻 𝗕𝗼𝗿𝗷𝗮 - 𝗣𝗼𝗱𝗶𝘂𝗺 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗲𝗿 | Liamn crosses the line in P2 after a hard, respectful battle with Caleb, who took the win - and nothing but good vibes at the finish line. Perfectly reflects Kartzone Cebu’s culture - competitors on track, friends at the finish.

𝗬𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗰𝗼 𝗕𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀 - 𝗗𝗼𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗺𝗽𝘀 | Percy took the Cadet Expert win; Aqui took the Intermediate Novice win. The younger brother who once coached his kuya now celebrates alongside him - a proud moment for their family and their brotherhood.

🏆 𝗭𝘆𝗮𝗻 𝗟𝗲𝗲 - 𝗥𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝟯 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗶𝗼𝗻! | Zyan Lee’s first race in the Intermediate Expert turned into something special.
Started in P6, he spent most of the laps in the Final Heat attacking Altheo Remedio - a driver who’s been fighting hard and waited a long time for his first-ever Superkarting win.
Altheo started on Pole and built a solid gap in the early laps, eager to finally get that elusive win. But as soon as Zyan closed the gap and got within striking distance, he attacked relentlessly as Altheo defended his position with everything he had got.
Down to the last few laps, Zyan made a successful attack and without hesitation took that elusive Superkarting win for himself.
