Millennials are now in sharp focus as they compose a more significant workforce.

We grew up in an age of technological innovation and constant connectedness.

In the past decade, uncertain economic conditions have been marked by job scarcity and uncertainty.

We are faced with a melting pot of social, economic, and technological change, which give rise to unique challenges such as:

1) Lack of Security (economic, employment, etc.)
2) Constant connection and an inability to "switch off."
3) Internalized standards resulting from social comparison

So, how to manage this pressure?

1) SET BOUNDARIES WITH YOURSELF
Learn to say no, take time to do something simply because it feels good and fills up your cup.

2) ACTIVELY DIAL BACK SOCIAL COMPARISON
Focus less on ‘what looks good on paper to yourself, as a testament to your level of education, to your friends, and practice a bit of self-compassion…that what you’re doing feels hard, but you are chipping away and getting there.

3) BUILD SKILLS TO HELP WITH BURNOUT
Develop skills around realistic goal setting and time management to contain your never-ending To-Do list of self-improvement and improve self-care.
