🎾🌅 𝗚𝗮𝗺𝗲. 𝗦𝗲𝘁. 𝗖𝗲𝗯𝘂: 𝗔 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱-𝗖𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀 𝗧𝗲𝗻𝗻𝗶𝘀 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴

Spanning two hectares near NUSTAR Resort Cebu, Robinsons Land Corporation (RLC) has unveiled plans for a landmark tennis complex that could place Cebu City on the global tennis map.

Led by RLC Senior Vice President and Business Unit General Manager Cora Ang Ley, together with Chief Strategist and Head of Sustainability Ramon Rivero and Digital Office Director Luz Artillero, the team presented a vision for a world-class venue designed to meet WTA 125 tournament standards.

Designed by Arch. Vincent Chua and Arch. Ellyza Chua, the proposed development will feature championship-level outdoor tennis courts set against breathtaking views of Cebu's coastline and skyline. The unique combination of world-class sports infrastructure and stunning scenery immediately captured the interest of PSC Chairman Patrick Gregorio and PHILTA Executive Director Tonette Mendoza, who recognized its potential to host international-caliber tournaments in the future.

Following the presentation, the delegation visited the Felicisimo Ampon Tennis Court at the Rizal Memorial Sports Complex to study a facility currently operating under WTA 125 standards and gather insights for the project's continued development.

If realized, this landmark venue will not only elevate Philippine tennis but also strengthen Cebu's position as a premier destination for sports tourism, international events, and athlete development.
