Sea training is starting to demand more from every paddler in the boat. We pushed past the comfortable pace and paid attention to the mistakes we usually try to ignore. This is how the crew gets serious about becoming better.
Thank you for another weekend of sulit sea training, Coach Ai! π©·πͺπ½

When Coach Ai is with us, sea training is never just sea training. It becomes a full check of technique, endurance, attitude, and how much fight is still left in the body. This weekend tested all of it. Hard sets, honest corrections, and a crew that kept answering back.

Last July 30, Cebu Pink Paddlers strengthened its breast cancer awareness advocacy through a meaningful activity with Camp Lapu-Lapu Station Hospital and the Cebu City Health Department. Aside from the awareness session, we also introduced the participants to our sport through a fun and engaging Pool Paddling 101. π©·
Our heartfelt thanks to Col. Josefa Andrea G. Cornista MC (GSC), Commanding Officer of Camp Lapu-Lapu Station Hospital, for embracing the program and supporting its possible expansion for Womenβs Month next year; Col. Hazel Billones NC, Chief of Nursing Services, for organizing the activity; and Dr. Ionne Sia for presenting the awareness module.
We also thank the Cebu City Health Department, led by Dr. Vanessa Tawi Galang, Cancer Control Program Coordinator, together with Dhea Alconendras, Joyce Fernandez, and Gretchen Bayadog, for their valuable partnership.
Through education, movement, and collaboration, we continue to turn breast cancer awareness into early action and stronger community support.

As part of our 9th year anniversary celebration, Cebu Pink Paddlers brought Pink Bites for the Brave back to Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center.
This milestone is not just about celebrating how far our team has come. It is also about extending that celebration to the community we continue to serve. Through simple meals and small moments of encouragement, we hope to remind fellow cancer warriors that they are seen, supported, and never alone.
We would also like to thank the Heights of Healing program for helping us make this activity a success.
Nine years of paddling with purpose. Nine years of advocacy that keeps reaching beyond ourselves. π©·

Happy birthday, CJ! Every training is a chance to learn, and we hope you keep using each one to become stronger and wiser in the boat. The team is rooting for the person and paddler you are becoming. Enjoy your day! π₯³ππ
