Here's a close up of Grandmaster Regino Ellustrisimo where you can see the asparagus knife he's holding. He is one of 5 famous Ilustrisimo Brothers from Cebu who were some of the best Escrimadors of their time. Their names were Melecio, Isidro, Agapito, Sixto and Regino. According to my teachers, G**o Dan Inosanto and Maestro Tony Diego, the most famous and feared brother of them all was Melecio who would literally take on any challenger with one foot nailed to the ground. (He had a hole through his foot and would nail it down to a wooden platform and fight anyone willing to take the challenge!)
