Alfrence A. Braza cops the Bronze medal for the Spectrum Runners Philippines in the Philippine Athletic Championships/ National Open in Tarlac.
Braza timed 14:58 in his 3rd place effort to give Spectrum its first medal in these Championships.
The gold went to Philipine National Teams Yacine Guermali, Silver to Sonny Wagdos.
Other Spectrum members followed the ranking, with Junel Gobotia in 4th place
( 14:58), and Mark Mahinay in 5th place
( 15;01).

Accountability. Justice should be served.

The Department of Justice (DOJ) has directed the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) to form a task force to investigate the drowning deaths of Ateneo men's basketball players Divine Adili and Rene Baterbonia in Dipaculao, Aurora.

In a statement, the DOJ said the NBI Central Office was instructed to conduct "a thorough, comprehensive, and impartial investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident."

The agency said the investigation will also determine whether there is sufficient basis to recommend the filing of charges in connection with the deaths of the two student-athletes.

"The DOJ remains committed to ensuring that the facts are fully established and that justice is served," it added.
