๐ช๐ฒ๐น๐ฐ๐ผ๐บ๐ฒ๐ฑ ๐๐ต๐ฒ ๐๐ง ๐ฆ๐๐๐ฑ๐ฒ๐ป๐๐ ๐ผ๐ณ ๐จ๐ ๐ง๐ฎ๐ด๐๐บ ๐๐ผ๐น๐น๐ฒ๐ด๐ฒ ๐๐ผ ๐ฅ๐๐ฉ๐๐ก ๐๐ง ๐๐ฒ๐ฏ๐! (Batch 4)
We were honored to welcome the 3rd Year computer science students from the University of Mindanao โ Tagum College to RIVAN IT Cebu for an educational tour. It was a pleasure to host aspiring IT professionals and provide them with an opportunity to explore real-world technologies and industry practices in a professional environment.
The students had the opportunity to learn about:
Phone Systems Setup โ Understanding IP telephony, system configuration, call management, and basic troubleshooting.
Fiber Optic Installation โ Exploring the fundamentals of fiber optic technology, installation practices, and its importance in delivering fast and reliable network connectivity.
Basic Network Infrastructure โ Gaining an introduction to the roles of firewalls, routers, switches, and access points (APs) in a network. Students also performed a simple hands-on networking activity by connecting actual networking devices using Ethernet cables to create a basic network topology, giving them practical exposure to how these devices are physically interconnected in a real-world environment.
The visit was filled with engaging discussions, interactive learning, and meaningful exchanges between our team and the students. Their curiosity, enthusiasm, and eagerness to learn made the experience truly rewarding for everyone.
