Zach on Wheels

Ever since Zach was a baby, nebulizer sessions have already been part of our normal routine. 🥺 There were nights before nga mahadlok mi every time muandar iyang asthma.

But when he started pushbike, we noticed something changed. His asthma attacks became rare and more manageable. Maybe because he became more active, mas lig-on na pud iyang lawas, and mas happy siya doing what he loves. 💙

It just so happened nga nibalik iyang asthma during our Bohol vacation. Siguro because he was adjusting again to the environment and temperature since bukid among place didto and very cold especially at night.

And for those who worry or think nga ginapush namo siya too much, as a mommy, I would never risk my child if kabalo ko nga dili niya kaya. Thankfully, God gave us a sign to push through with the race because pag Saturday morning, wala na siya nag-ubo and he became active again, though naa pa gihapon slight sip-on.

Still thankful because despite everything, he remains brave, active, and full of energy. Our strong little boy. 🫶

Another last-minute decision to join a race. We arrived in Cebu yesterday at around 8 PM after our 2-week vacation. Kapoy kaayo gyud as in, I drove approximately 200+ km from Anda to Liloan, then still had to prepare for the race pa. Supermom lol 😂

Zachy had asthma the past few days, but thankfully he got better by Saturday morning, so we decided to let him race. No practice, no track time for weeks, and honestly, we didn’t expect too much. For a 2-year-old, getting back on the track after a long break was already a challenge itself.

But as always, we believed in our little boy. 💙

Had a bad fall during the race but still got up, continued, and finished strong at such a young age. We’re so proud of you, Zach. 💙

Late update because right after the race, we immediately went home to catch our trip to Bohol.

Zach will be taking a 2-week vacation and will be absent from some pushbike activities for now. Congratulations again kids, and good luck on your next races! See you once we come back 😄
