As we prepare for the Fuel N’ Paddle First Anniversary Pickleball Tournament, players are reminded that Petition Day is August 25, 2026. This process is in place to ensure that all players compete in the appropriate category and that the tournament remains fair for everyone.

📌 HOW TO FILE A PETITION

1️⃣ Identify the player/team to be petitioned.
If you have valid grounds to question a player’s eligibility or category classification, you may file a petition during the designated petition period.

2️⃣ Submit the petition.
Provide the tournament organizers with the player’s name and the reason for the petition.

3️⃣ Provide evidence. 🔎
A petition must be supported by clear and credible evidence. Baseless or frivolous petitions are discouraged.

4️⃣ Pay the ₱350 petition deposit. 💰
For an on-the-day petition, a ₱350 deposit fee must be paid before the petition will be entertained.

5️⃣ Wait for verification.
If the petition is found to be TRUE, the ₱350 deposit will be REFUNDED, and the player being petitioned will be automatically disqualified.

⚠️ IMPORTANT RULES

🚫 No backing out or refund requests are allowed once a petition has been filed.

🏓 On-the-day petitions may only be entertained during the Bracketing or Elimination Phase.

⏰ Once Round of 16 begins, no further petitions will be entertained.

❌ If the petition is proven true, the petitioned player is automatically disqualified.

💰 The ₱350 deposit is refunded only when the petition is found to be TRUE.
