What is table tennis? Is it a dangerous sport?
Table tennis, predominantly known as Ping Pong, is a fast moving racquet sport requiring exceptional hand-eye coordination. Men and Women play either as individuals or in pairs and win points by hitting a lightweight ball over a net so that their opponents can't return it or are forced into an error. So pag nagkamali kah, score sa kalaban!
Table tennis, or ping-pong, is an enjoyable sport but it can be highly competitive. Each player tries to outscore his opponent through the use of skill, strength, speed, stamina and strategy. The game is somewhat similar to tennis, where players hit the ball back and forth over a net.
It's not just a recreational pastime or a humorous Hollywood referenceβit's actually a competitive Olympic sport. It's also not easy, not by any stretch. Table tennis, in truth, requires serious skill and athleticism to master, and in turn offers real physical and mental benefits. This sport is not for the weak: Mentally and physically! Well, there's no need to debate in every sport because A SPORT IS A SPORT. IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT, THEN DON'T HATE IT". Playing table tennis is better than always focusing on your cellphones doing social media everyday without knowing how many hours you had wasted in your life. Atleast in doing sport, healthy kana at hahaba pa buhay mo. Kesa puro TIKTOK at FACEBOOK nalang inaatupag mo. Realtak!
Playing table tennis is very safe. The injury does happen in table tennis, however, they are often light injuries and not-serious pain. Besides having many health benefits, table tennis is very safe for any age. It's a Lifetime Sport. Scientific evidence and medical experts around the world acknowledge that recreational table tennis increases concentration and alertness, stimulates brain function, helps with the development of tactical thinking skills, hand/eye coordination, provides aerobic exercise and social and recreational interaction. Table tennis raises the heart rate, helps strengthen muscles, mobilises the joints and, importantly, sharpens reaction times and hugely improves hand-eye coordination. All of which help to improve one's quality of life. So mag eenjoy kah talaga sa sport na ito and at the same time, you can make this as your guide in life. No fatal injuries and No enemies. It's a non contact sport kaya walang magagalit kasi di mo naman babangga'in literal yung kalaban, Walang tulakan at walang basagan ng mukha.
To all parents out there, please encourage your son/daughter to do sport especially table tennis. It's a good training mentally and physically for them. Maybe it's time to help them understand that sports is better than their cellphones. And if you're interested in this sport, please don't hesitate to reach us Grip N' Rip Table Tennis Club and join us!
