What a journey! Congratulations to all our athletes who competed in the 2026 MOSAA Meet! Your hard work, sacrifices, sweat, discipline, and countless hours of training have truly paid off.

As your coach, we are very proud of each and every one of you. Winning is not only about the medals it is about the courage to step on the competition area, the discipline to keep training when things get difficult, and the determination to give your best until the very end.

Today, you have earned more than victories. You have earned the opportunity to represent Montevista National High School and the Montevista Blazing Fighters in the DDOPAA 2026. 🔥🥋

Day 7/7 of the Free Taekwondo Summer Clinic by Sangguniang Kabataan Brgy. San Jose, Montevista, Davao de Oro.

From day 1 to day 7, this journey became more than just training it became a story of sacrifice, early mornings, tired bodies, and the quiet strength of parents who kept showing up for their children.

There was pain in every lesson, but also smiles in every improvement, as our seniors patiently shared their time to help the younger students learn, adapt, and enjoy the process.

My sincere thanks to the Kaizen Taekwondo Club Montevista Coaches and DepEd coaches for their dedication, and to the sponsors from Sangguniang Kabataan Brgy. San Jose, Montevista for making this meaningful summer clinic possible. Because of your support, these young athletes learned that Taekwondo is not only about movement, but about carrying discipline and a positive attitude into everyday life.

Day 5 out of 7

Sangguniang Kabataan Brgy. San Jose Montevista Free Taekwondo Summer Clinic.

Today’s ladder drills sharpened quick feet, cone drills tested movement and control, plyometric drills pushed power and endurance.

While in Poomsae Foundation 1 reminded our students that every strong athlete begins with strong basics.

Every step, every jump, and every movement is teaching them that progress comes from discipline, effort, and the willingness to keep improving.

Day 4 out of 7 — Sangguniang Kabataan Brgy. San Jose Montevista Free Taekwondo Summer Clinic.

Today’s training reminded our students that sparring (kyorugi) is not only about fighting, but about learning courage, control, and how to stay calm even through pain.

At the same time, the basic foundation of poomsae continues to teach discipline, focus, and respect showing that Taekwondo is not just a sport, but a way of building character both inside and outside the dojang.
