The biggest event in Loreto was truly a blast! The 61st Araw ng Loreto and 21st UMAJAM Festival have officially concluded, and the teams of the Mayor Alvin Otaza Commercial Basketball League did not disappoint!🔥

From start to finish, the matchups were intense and action-packed. In the end, the DLSU Green Archers emerged as the last team standing, taking home the ₱800,000 prize and the championship glory! 🏆

On behalf of the team, we would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the honorable Mayor Alvin Otaza, along with his wife and former mayor Lorife Otaza, for entrusting us with the entire league. We are proud to have delivered a production that exceeded expectations and gave everyone an unforgettable experience.

Thank you for your generosity and for warmly welcoming us into your beautiful town. It was truly a memorable and meaningful experience.

The DLSU Green Archers are your Mayor Alvin Otaza Commercial Basketball League CHAMPS! 🏆

The Archers finished the Group Phase on top (3-1), winning a crucial three-way tiebreaker that earned them a spot in the Finals against the veteran-laden DAVE Construction squad.

It turned into a cardiac game, with both teams trading clutch baskets down the stretch, forcing an additional five minutes of overtime to decide the champion!

In the closing moments, Andrei Dungo, subbed in by Coach Topex Robinson, delivered the biggest shot of the night. After being spotted in the corner by Jacob Cortez, Dungo calmly knocked down a clutch fadeaway three-pointer to seal the victory for the Green Archers.

DAVE Construction had one last chance, but Steve Nash Enriquez’s potential game-tying layup heartbreakingly rattled out.

DLSU now heads home with the 𝐏𝟖𝟎𝟎,𝟎𝟎𝟎 prize and etches their name into the history of Loreto’s Umajam Tournament.

DAVE Construction fell short in the finals against the DLSU Green Archers after a heartbreaking game-winner by Andrei Dungo in overtime. Steve Nash Enriquez missed a potential game-tying layup in the closing moments, breaking the hearts of the DAVE Construction squad.

Composed of Panalay greats and seasoned ex-pro players, including GAB Dagangon, Emman Calo, and “The Muscle Man” Vic Manuel, the team showcased grit and experience throughout the tournament, but ultimately came just one play short of the championship.

The ADU Soaring Falcons are your Mayor Alvin Otaza Commercial Basketball League 3rd placer!

Despite being ranked 4th with a 1–3 record, the Falcons soared high to stun the mighty UP Fighting Maroons. After a heartbreaking loss in the group phase, they returned with vengeance in the battle for 3rd place, shocking the Maroons and making a statement at the Loreto Umajam Dome. What a way to finish the pocket tournament!

Despite finishing the Group Phase with a strong 3–1 record, they dropped to 3rd place due to a tie-breaker and eventually bowed to the Adamson Soaring Falcons in the battle for 3rd.

Still, a remarkable campaign and a championship-worthy performance. Congratulations, UP Men's Basketball Team! ✊
