All set for the 4th Recovery Championship golf tournament this August

DAVAO CITY, PHILIPPINES – Davao’s premier golfing event is back and bigger than ever. The Recovery 5:30 Club is set to hold the 4th edition of its signature Recovery Team Golf Tournament on August 15 and 16, 2026, co-hosted across two of the region’s top courses: the Rancho Palos Verdes Golf and Country Club and the South Pacific Golf and Leisure Estate.The only accredited golf event by the Kadayawan Festival.

Designed as a premier two-day team competition, the event is strictly limited to 100 four-player teams. Registration slots are filling up rapidly as top players from across the country and abroad prepare to compete.

"We are expecting the presence of golfers from abroad, Luzon, and perennial contenders from Cebu, alongside the rest of the strong teams from Mindanao and the Visayas," said tournament director Engr. Ludwig Ledesma.

The tournament will feature a Four-to-Play, All-to-Count format using the Molave Points Scoring System. Teams will compete across several categories to ensure balanced and exciting play:
Regular Classes: Class A, B, C, and D
Senior Divisions: Seniors 1 and Seniors 2

In addition to competitive honors, participants will be playing for millions of pesos worth of prizes. A windfall of grand hole-in-one prizes and a massive raffle selection await lucky players during the grand awarding ceremony.

Renowned for its lavish food service, the Recovery 5:30 tournament continues its tradition of generous hospitality. Players will enjoy full complimentary access to golf carts and all meals throughout the two-day event.

To elevate the experience, snack houses set up between holes will offer a literal feast of Davao’s world-famous fruits. Guests and participants will indulge in an abundance of local delicacies, including the "King of Fruits" Durian, alongside fresh mangosteen, sweet pomelo, and bananas.

Team Entry Fee: ₱80,000 per team of four

Player Giveaways: Each participant will receive premium tournament giveaways valued at ₱7,500

Inclusions: Free golf cart use for two days, full meals, snack station access, and entry into raffle draws
