Ella Eting's dream of becoming the inaugural JDBL Season 1 Champions came to an end after a tough 63-53 defeat against JAS x AYLA in the Wild Card Round.

There is no question about the potential of this squad when playing at full strength. Throughout the season, Ella Eting proved they could compete with the league's best. However, player commitments and unfortunate scheduling conflicts disrupted their momentum during the crucial stages of the elimination round, forcing them into a difficult wildcard situation.

Missing key players in their playoff matchup, Ella Eting fought hard but ultimately couldn't overcome the challenge as opportunities slipped away.

While the season ends earlier than expected, this experience can serve as fuel for a stronger comeback. The talent is there, and the team has every reason to believe they can contend again.

Boasting one of the youngest cores in the league, Zaroxima has shown plenty of potential throughout the season. They proved they could compete with anyone when at full strength, highlighted by their impressive victory over top-seeded Hungry Helper during the elimination round. Unfortunately, inconsistent player commitment and availability prevented them from building momentum and capitalizing on several winnable games.

The talent is there, and the future remains bright for this young squad. Season 1 may not have ended the way they hoped, but the experience gained this year could serve as the foundation for bigger things ahead.
