They're back! Kapitan Tomas Monteverde Sr. Central Elementary School is once again under the guidance of Kapatirang Doble Olisi Escrima, with management by the Mandirigmang Bughaw Arnis Escrima Club. We're excited for success in the upcoming local and national Arnis tournaments. Bunal na!

Yes, this was my first experience in a live stick Arnis tournament. If only our sticks hadn't dropped, we could've taken home the gold.
All glory belongs to God! I never imagined I could still compete at my age, having passed my prime over 20 years ago. With just twoo weks of training, and juggling a hectic work schedule and limited sleep, it was definitely a challenge. But God is truly amazing! Oh, by the way, I went up against a college kid, LOL!

Six entries, 3 golds, 3 silvers and 1Bronze from the recently concluded 39th Kadayawan sa Davao Zubiri National Invitational Arnis Kali Eskrima Tournament held at the UP Mindanao Sports Complex last August 24-25, 2024! These kids fought their way through eliminations to the championship. Their dedication and hard work during such a short training period truly earned them these well-deserved awards.
