Davao-South Regional Football Association

The Philippine Football Federation mourns the passing of Prof. Erwin Protacio, former Davao South Regional Football Association President and former PFF Board of Governors member. As RFA leader, UP Mindanao Human Kinetics Professor, coach, match commissioner, and sports advocate, he devoted his life to the development of Philippine football. Football in the Mindanao region is enhanced because of his contributions.

Our condolences to his bereaved family and colleagues.

CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR PHL U17 GIRLS!

2 losses vs Japan and Myanmar and ended our 2 games with a WIN.

A big congratulations to our lone Mindanao representative and homegrown Davao talent Jelena Pido for a hat trick and equalizing Indonesia in the 1st half. Ended the game with 5-3 in favor of the Philippines.

Tomorrow we face off against qualified side 🇨🇷 at 7:00 PM local time (9:00 AM PHT).

Ongoing Philippine Football Federation Basic Referees Course hosted by Davao-South Regional FA.

DRFA Head Referee and PFF Instructor Mr. Danny Boy Fernandez conducted the event with guest speaker FIFA Asst Referee Ms. Merlo Albano.

The 3-day course includes theory and practical sessions from August 19-22, 2022 at Mintal Comprehensive High School, Mintal, Davao City.

A total of 55 participants (senior and aspirants referees from DepEd and non-DepEd, coaches, and players) attended the said event.
