FROM FIRST STEPS TO FULL RUNS 🏃

Our Junior Barangay squad (Born 2011–2012) just kicked off their journey with their first-ever session under Coach Ruel Dela Cruz, learning the basics, embracing the grind, and taking it all in one drill at a time.

Coming off the strong debut win of our 20U squad, our youngest warriors this 2026, our 13U squad is going all out in preparation for their upcoming games at Purok Kasoy, Brgy. Tamugan — ready to prove that age is just a number when heart and hustle are present.

Different ages. Same mindset. One TR.

Syempre, after every championship, hindi nawawala ang “mandatory selfie.” Pero ang tanong, sino nga ba ang mas malupit? Yung 15U na fresh pa ang energy at grabe ang hype, o yung 17U na parang sanay na sa spotlight? Kayo na humusga! 🔥

Pero sa likod ng mga ngiti at tropa vibes sa mga litrato, may kwento na hindi agad nakikita. Madaling sabihin na “mamaw ang TR” kapag tapos na ang laban, pero hindi nakikita ng karamihan ang proseso — ang mahabang oras ng ensayo, pagod, sakripisyo, at disiplina na dinaanan bago makarating sa ganitong resulta. Hindi ito nangyari overnight.

Hindi lang kami sumali sa CYBL para maglaro — nandito kami para iangat ang antas ng basketball at makatulong sa paghubog ng mga kabataan mula Calinan, Baguio, at Tugbok Districts. At mas masarap makita na hindi lang TR ang nag-eeffort — kundi pati ang ibang teams na kapwa namin nagsusumikap, nagbibigay buhay sa laro, at tinutulak ang bawat manlalaro na lampasan ang kanilang limitasyon.

Sa dulo, oo — may selfie, may medalya, may panalo. Pero higit pa doon, may paglago, respeto, at pagmamahal sa laro.

Our 15U squad set the tone with a dominant victory over Siege A Ballers, 𝟗𝟖–𝟑𝟖, showcasing relentless energy and total control from start to finish. Not to be outdone, the 17U squad followed it up with a composed and hard-earned 𝟔𝟕-𝟒𝟏 win over PSJA, sealing the crown and completing a championship sweep for TR.

Individual brilliance shined through a system built on teamwork and discipline, as 𝐊𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐨 𝐎𝐫𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐨 was hailed 𝐒𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝐌𝐕𝐏 of the 15U Division, while 𝐉𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐬 𝐊𝐲𝐥𝐞 𝐃𝐨𝐭𝐚𝐝𝐨 earned the same honor in the 17U Division. Our 17U squad secures a back-to-back finals appearance in both divisions of the CYBL, marking the 17th finals appearance for TR All Stars this 2026 after a commanding 66–39 victory over fourth-seed JL Hoops in the semi-finals. From the opening tip, TR imposed its rhythm on both ends by locking in defensively, executing with precision on offense, and never allowing their opponents to gain momentum. It was a performance built on composure, discipline, and the hunger to reach the finale.

But beyond the numbers and the win streaks, this journey is grounded on something deeper. The team lifts this milestone to God Almighty, giving thanks for the guidance, strength, and countless blessings throughout the season. This achievement is also a reflection of the system instilled by the program led by our coaches — Coach Ruel Dela Cruz and Coach Celso John Adolfo, and coaching staff, and the unwavering support of our team owner PB Buday Dayot, who continues to stand behind every step of this journey.

Now, it all comes down to a rematch in the finals as TR faces a determined, Bacalso-led PSJA squad.

Our 15U squad secures 16th finals appearance for TR All Stars this 2026, continuing a remarkable run built on discipline, heart, and purpose. After topping the group stage with a flawless 5–0 record, the squad carried its momentum into the semi-finals and took down NK Selection, 73–39, with HCCD standout JL Ibuos leading the charge in a commanding performance. From start to finish, TR showed composure and control, proving once again why they belong on big stages.

More than the victory, this milestone is a testament to something greater. The team lifts this achievement to God Almighty, offering all glory and gratitude for the strength, guidance, and protection throughout the journey. The squad also extends its heartfelt thanks to our coaches — Coach Ruel Dela Cruz and Coach Celso John Adolfo, and coaching staff for their dedication and leadership, and to team owner PB Buday Dayot for her unwavering support behind the program.
