Gipahibalo sa City Sports Development Division nga ipatuman ang open tryouts alang sa tanang athletes nga gustong mopresenta sa Davao City sa Palaro, Batang Pinoy, ug uban pang national competitions.

Matud ni Mikey Aportadera, ang selection process ibase na sa tryouts aron malikayan ang isyu sa favoritism ug masiguro nga ang pinaka-angay ug pinakamaayo nga atleta ang mopresenta sa syudad.

Dugang pa niya, padayon ang full support sa city government sa mga kwalipikadong atleta lakip ang training, travel assistance, ug accommodation atol sa kompetisyon.

Gipadayag usab ang plano sa syudad sa paglusad sa sports scholarship program ug pagtukod og strength and conditioning facility aron mas mapalambo ang kahimtang ug performance sa mga atleta.

Sumala sa opisyal, adunay ipatuman nga incentive system alang sa mga atleta nga makadaug ug makahatag og medalya sa regional ug national competitions.
