✨ DANCE IN MOTION | YOUTH GRAND PRIX 2026–2027 ✨

A proud milestone for Dance In Motion Dumaguete.

Our very own Uliana Gaston ( #271) has proudly represented Dance In Motion Dumaguete on the Youth Grand Prix stage, marking an important step in our academy’s journey into the competitive international dance community.

With her elegant stage presence, beautiful lines, artistry, and strong technical foundation, Uliana earned a place in the Top 24—an achievement we are immensely proud of.

Her performance and potential were further recognized through scholarship opportunities from:

🏅Joffrey Ballet School — New York
🏅International Contemporary Ensemble
🏅International Contemporary Masters USA — New York & Connecticut

For a young dancer stepping onto this stage, this is more than a placement. It is a testament to dedication, discipline, perseverance, and the courage to dream beyond boundaries.

We are incredibly proud to see Uliana carrying the name of Dance In Motion onto a bigger stage and representing Dumaguete with grace, determination, and artistry.

This is only the beginning.
Keep reaching higher, Yuli. 🩰✨

Two weeks of hard work, discipline, and discovery. ✨

Our competing girls (Uliana and Anna) preparing not only for the competition stage, but for the dancers they are becoming.

A special treat during their intensive was learning Lester Horton Technique with Sir Max Luna — a chance to step outside their usual training, unwind, explore, and discover a new way of moving.

Every class, every correction, every new technique adds to their growth. What they learn today will shape their confidence, artistry, strength, and versatility as they step onto the stage.

Train hard. Stay curious. Keep growing. Become your best version. Then conquer the stage. 🩰✨

Progress is built by showing up. 🩰✨

Even on the tired days. Even on the off days. You keep coming, you keep learning, and you keep trying.

Because discipline is showing up when you don’t feel like it, and perseverance is choosing to keep going.

The steps may be what you learn in class, but discipline and perseverance are what you take home. 🤍

“DREAMS DON’T WORK UNLESS YOU DO”

School in the morning.
Training in the afternoon.
Homework at night.
Repeat.

This is what commitment looks like.

Talent opens the door, but discipline, dedication, and time management are what keep these girls moving forward. One day at a time. 🩰🤍

We celebrate progress over perfection. We encourage our dancers to support one another, embrace every challenge, and trust that growth happens at its own pace.

Because every plié, every tendu, every correction, and every moment of perseverance brings them one step closer to becoming the dancer they dream of being. 🩰✨
