The story goes back then! 🫡
Year 2022

The importance of this International Event -

IFC International Football Championship
Bali, Indonesia 🇮🇩

Year 2022 — the first batch of FKU FC players to compete in the prestigious IFC International Football Championship in Bali, Indonesia, after the PANDEMIC era. As the world slowly opening it's doors for international football events.

Indonesia is a well-known football country, where the sport is deeply rooted in the culture and passion of its people. From grassroots football to professional competitions, the country continues to nurture young talents and provide opportunities for players to compete at a high level.

Our four prodigies — RAFAEL WANDELER, FRANCIS MATURAN, ALEXIS ABESTANO, and NASHDIN PIMENTEL at that time ( 2022 ) went through a one-month brutal selection process in Metro Manila after earning their spots on the final roster ABUFA - representing the Philippines 🇵🇭 for this prestigious International Football Event.

After the pandemic, FKU FC continued to open doors for our young players to experience international football. Year after year, we sent more of our players to participate in tryouts and selection processes for this prestigious international football event.

This journey became more than just about one tournament. It became part of our club’s story, a continuing pathway for our players to experience international football, grow as athletes, and represent FKU FC on a bigger stage.

Fast forward to 2026, the journey continues with ZIV DIAGO, JOSH MOLEJE and JUAN TEVES representing ALL STAR INTERNATIONAL ASEAN FOOTBALL TEAM 🇵🇭 for the IFC INTERNATIONAL FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP. Their opportunity to step onto the international stage is another chapter in the continuing story of FKU FC. May they carry the legacy of those who came before them, embrace the experience, and create their own history while proudly representing the club on the international stage.

The journey continues…
