Outside the studio, our dancers take on a different kind of stage.
Weβre sending our warmest support to Ian Dela Fuente as he steps into the spotlight for Mr. Hibalag, and to Szujara Sumalpong as she vies for the crown of Ms. Silliman! π
May you both carry the confidence, grace, and passion of a dancer wherever the stage takes you.
All the best, Ian and Szuijara! Your SUDC family is cheering you on! β€οΈβπ₯β¨

Our traditions are not static museum piecesβthey are living, breathing ecosystems that survive through transmission, ritual, and community practice.
MUSIKAPULUAN | SUGILANON: A National Summit and Dialogue on Sustaining the Ecology of Living Philippine Music Traditions officially opens its doors for participants, cultural workers, educators, and music lovers. From the sacred ritual soundscapes of the Cordilleras and the Lumad communities, to the intergenerational transmission of Visayan folk songs and the vibrant percussion of our island festivals, this summit traces the rich auditory map of our archipelago.
We will also stand at the cutting edge of change, exploring the ethical boundaries, cultural integrity, and creative possibilities of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in relation to indigenous creative industries.
