From your very first days in Grade 4 up to where you stand now, we have seen your journey filled with passion, hard work, and dedication to the game. You didn’t just grow as a player in EFC, you grew as a person, a teammate, and an inspiration to everyone around you.

You became more than a teammate, you became family. Your hard work, your attitude, and your love for the game will always be remembered.

𝗘𝗙𝗖 𝗕𝗢𝗥𝗡 2012: 1𝗦𝗧 𝗥𝗨𝗡𝗡𝗘𝗥 𝗨𝗣 𝗜𝗡 1𝗦𝗧 𝗗𝗢𝗪𝗡𝗧𝗢𝗪𝗡 𝗙𝗖 𝗗𝗘𝗥𝗕𝗬

EFC U14 (Born 2012) showed heart, discipline, and true character as they clinched 1st Runner-Up in the 1st Downtown FC Derby at North Point Yard, Talisay City.

From the very start, Escalante Football Club made a strong statement in the elimination round:
EFC vs ADA BCD — 1-0
EFC vs UNOR — 3-0
EFC vs BUKLOD FC — 2-0

Unbeaten. Unshaken. Unstoppable. In the Semi-Finals, EFC edged Downtown FC A with a hard-fought 1-0 victory, proving that grit and teamwork win tight battles.

The Championship match against Dolphins FC ended in a narrow 0-1 result, but beyond the scoreboard, this young squad displayed maturity beyond their years.

This achievement was made possible not only by the players hard work but also by the people behind their success. To 𝗖𝗼𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝗦𝗲𝗯 𝗦𝗮𝗴𝗮𝗹 𝗠𝗲ñ𝗼𝘇𝗮, and 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗿 𝗠𝗮𝗺𝗮 𝗗𝗮𝗶𝘀𝘆 𝗣𝗶𝗻𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗻 deserves recognition for tireless guidance, training, motivation, and discipline that shaped the Batang EFC. To the 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗱 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀, your sacrifices and constant encouragement have been the backbone of the Batang EFC progress. Special thanks to Ma’am 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗲 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗼𝗻 for assisting with transportation. Lastly to the City Government of Escalante, led by 𝗛𝗼𝗻. The players walked away not only with medals and recognition, but with lessons, experiences, and memories that will shape them as athletes and individuals.

Escalante City Footballers recently played a friendly match against St. La Salle Bacolod as part of the Center of Youth Excellence Program of Escalante City. More than a game, the friendly match became a valuable learning experience that highlighted the growth, potential, and determination of Escalante City’s young grassroots players. The activity aimed to expose the athletes to a higher level of competition, allowing them to gain confidence, improve their skills, and experience a different football environment. It encouraged the players to challenge themselves and prepare for bigger opportunities ahead.

This initiative is strongly supported by the City of Escalante, headed by 𝗛𝗼𝗻. 𝗠𝗮𝘆𝗼𝗿 𝗠𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗼 “𝗕𝗲𝗯𝗼𝘆” 𝗬𝗮𝗽 𝗝𝗿., who continues to promote youth development through sports. Together with the Escalante City Football Coordinator 𝗦𝗶𝗿 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗼 𝗔𝗹𝗲𝗷𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗿𝗼 𝗟𝗶𝗺𝗮𝘀, whose guidance focuses on long term player development. His efforts helped build a meaningful connection between teams and provided the players with a valuable competitive experience.

The team extends its gratitude to 𝗖𝗼𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝗦𝗲𝗯 𝗦𝗮𝗴𝗮𝗹 𝗠𝗲ñ𝗼𝘇𝗮 for his commitment in guiding the players, and to 𝗘𝗙𝗖 𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗘𝗖𝗘𝗦 𝗙𝗼𝗼𝘁𝗯𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗿 𝗠𝗮𝗺𝗮 𝗗𝗮𝗶𝘀𝘆 𝗣𝗶𝗻𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗻 and 𝗠𝗮’𝗮𝗺 𝗔𝗻𝗮𝗹𝘆𝗻 𝗔𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗻, for sharing their passion and continuing to support the team throughout this journey. The City of Escalante, headed by 𝗛𝗼𝗻. 𝗠𝗮𝘆𝗼𝗿 𝗠𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗼 “𝗕𝗲𝗯𝗼𝘆” 𝗬𝗮𝗽 𝗝𝗿., continues to strengthen its football program with a strong focus on youth development, growth, and support. Led by the Escalante City New Football Coordinator 𝗦𝗶𝗿 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗼 𝗔𝗹𝗲𝗷𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗿𝗼 𝗟𝗶𝗺𝗮𝘀, together with EFC President 𝗖𝗼𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝗝𝗼𝗮𝘀𝗵 𝗖𝗮𝗯𝘂𝘀, Founder and Adviser 𝗠𝗮𝗺𝗮 𝗗𝗮𝗶𝘀𝘆 𝗣𝗶𝗻𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗻, Co-Adviser 𝗠𝗮’𝗮𝗺 𝗔𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗻 𝗔𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗻, and 𝗖𝗼𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝗦𝗲𝗯 𝗦𝗮𝗴𝗮𝗹 𝗠𝗲ñ𝗼𝘇𝗮, the program aims to build a solid foundation for grassroots football.

Discussions focused on improving training programs, and ensuring young players receive the right guidance, mentorship, and opportunities. Part of this growth development program includes planned competitions like the NORFA Champions League 2026 and other future tournaments that aim to give players a chance to shine and grow.

This commitment to youth excellence reflects Escalante City’s vision of building a more competent and competitive football offering more doors for young athletes. Through continuous support, mentorship, and opportunity, the city is shaping a future where every player can grow with confidence, lead with character, and proudly represent Escalante City with pride.

Escalante City Elementary Football continues its inspiring run in the Provincial Meet 2026 after a commanding 9–0 semifinal victory over Bago City, earning a well deserved spot in the Finals.

This remarkable achievement reflects the discipline, teamwork, and determination shown by the young tigers throughout the Provincial Meet Games. Guided by the steady leadership of Coach Mama Daisy Pinongan, with the full support of Assistant Coach Ma’am Peejay Ann Valiente along with the supervision and guidance of Coach Dale Yves Sulitas, the team has grown stronger each game playing with confidence, heart, and bringing pride for Escalante City.

Tomorrow marks another important chapter as they face Negros Occidental in their Finals Match at 8:00 AM at STI West Negros Field. Let’s all come together, show our support, and cheer them on as they continue this unforgettable journey. The future of Escalante football is shining bright.

𝗘𝗦𝗖𝗔𝗟𝗔𝗡𝗧𝗘 𝗖𝗜𝗧𝗬 𝗘𝗟𝗘𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗔𝗥𝗬 𝗙𝗢𝗢𝗧𝗕𝗔𝗟𝗟: 𝗕𝗢𝗨𝗡𝗗 𝗧𝗢 𝗦𝗘𝗠𝗜𝗙𝗜𝗡𝗔𝗟

Escalante City Elementary Football took on a challenging task as they faced strong Northern Negros teams in a battle for the top position in their bracket. The team opened their campaign with an impressive and disciplined performance against Sagay City, controlling the game from the opening whistle and securing a convincing 7–1 victory. Their sharp passing, solid defense, and teamwork were evident throughout the match, setting a high standard for the games that followed.

Building on that momentum, Escalante City faced San Carlos City in another crucial match. Despite a more competitive contest, the team remained focused and composed, earning a well deserved 3–1 win. This second victory confirmed Escalante City Elementary Football as Top 1 in their bracket, reflecting the players hard work, preparation, and determination on the field.

With these results, Escalante City Elementary Football now moves on to the semi finals, where they will face Bago City on January 30, 2026, at 2:00 PM at STI West Negros.
