𝘼 𝘿𝙚𝙗𝙪𝙩 𝙒𝙤𝙧𝙩𝙝 𝘾𝙚𝙡𝙚𝙗𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜
The Bantugen Debate and Moot Society made a triumphant debut at the recently concluded 2nd Luzon Novice Debate Cup held on April 11-12, 2026, with delegates 𝗦𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗗𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗱 𝗥𝘂𝗯𝗮 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗠𝗲𝗶𝗸𝗮 𝗝𝗶𝗻 𝗧𝗮𝘆𝗼𝘁𝗼 breaking through the national ranks to finish as 𝐏𝐫𝐞-𝐒𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐎𝐩𝐞𝐧 𝐂𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞𝐝 𝟏𝟎𝐭𝐡 𝐎𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐥𝐥. The duo took a bold leap for the society by successfully competing in the British Parliamentary format for the very first time against a competitive roster of nearly 39 teams from different universities and colleges across the country.

Special recognition is also extended to 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐡 𝐏𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐥 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐚𝐨, who participated as an adjudicator — for her commitment to maintaining the integrity of the rounds and her resilience in delving into this format for the first time.

Congratulations to our outstanding debaters and adjudicator for a phenomenal first step into the BP circuit. Padayon!
