Day 4 of enrollment is underway as MSU–General Santos welcomes its fourth-year students, the batch that’s just one enrollment away from saying, “last na gyud ni.” Hallways are once again filled with familiar greetings, thesis talks, internship plans, and the classic, “Kumpleto na requirements mo, dawg?” as seniors take another step closer to the finish line.

As enrollment activities continue throughout the day, seniors prepare to embrace a year defined by greater academic responsibilities, field experiences, and the completion of program requirements. More than a routine enrollment process, today’s activity marks the beginning of their final chapter as Sociology students, a chapter that brings them closer to the goal they have worked toward since their first day on campus.

The third day of enrollment is underway as third-year Sociology students gather today, August 5, to officially continue their academic journey for the upcoming semester. From the early hours of the morning, Junior Sosyals lined up at the enrollment venue, completing the necessary requirements and processing their enrollment alongside fellow students.

The ongoing enrollment marks another important step in their academic journey as they prepare for another year of learning, research, and community engagement.

Another year for another cheer! The Sociology Students’ Society offer their warmest birthday greetings towards one of the undersecretaries for STRAW committee, Ahmad Adnan Macalangcom.

We thank you for extending your helping hands to the organization for a heartwarming service towards the Sosyals. And may you keep on pushing forth the energy to lead and act with grace and compassion.

We’ll always wish you the safest and most steadfast life now and ahead of you. May your undertakings be swell and may your blessings be well.

Day 2 of enrollment is in full swing as MSU–General Santos opens its doors to its sophomore students. Hallways once again fill with familiar faces, quick catch-ups, and the usual “Kumpleto na ba requirements mo?” as second-year students line up to officially begin another chapter of their college journey.

To our Sosyals, welcome back to the ground where questions become conversations and experiences become lessons. Your first year introduced you to Sociology. This year, it’s your turn to look deeper, think wider, and see society through a sharper lens. Padayon, Sosyals, Year 2 looks good on you!

𝗛𝗔𝗣𝗣𝗘𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗡𝗢𝗪 | A new academic journey begins as Mindanao State University–General Santos officially opens the first day of enrollment for the First Semester of Academic Year 2026–2027 today, August 3. The campus welcomes its first wave of incoming students as first-year enrollees fill the halls, completing requirements and taking their first official step into university life.

As dreams begin to take shape, the Department of Sociology warmly welcomes its newest batch of freshmen. With smiles on their faces and mini fans in their hands, they are now ready to begin a new chapter of their lives, carrying their dreams, hopes, and the support of their loved ones. As the first semester arrived, we hope that the students are happy and ready, as the academic year full of learning will finally begin.
