From June 3–6, 2026, the city of General Santos, as host city of the event, echoed with cheers, victories, and the dreams of our young athletes during the 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐌𝐮𝐚𝐲𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐢 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩𝐬 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐨 𝐋𝐞𝐠,, with the participation of various LGUs throughout the island of Mindanao.

We celebrated every punch thrown with courage, every round fought with heart, and every medal earned through months of sacrifice, discipline, and determination. Their smiles on the podium captured a moment of pure pride, a memory that we will forever treasure.

General Santos City was hailed as the , with 𝙏𝙚𝙖𝙢 𝙈𝙐𝙈𝙈𝘼 𝙂𝙚𝙣𝙎𝙖𝙣 proudly contributed an incredible 𝟏𝟗 𝐆𝐨𝐥𝐝, 𝟏𝟗 𝐒𝐢𝐥𝐯𝐞𝐫, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝟐𝟎 𝐁𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐳𝐞 𝐦𝐞𝐝𝐚𝐥𝐬, a remarkable testament to the dedication, hard work, and fighting spirit of our athletes, coaches, and parents.

Then, on June 8, 2026, everything changed.
The same city that witnessed our triumph was shaken by a powerful earthquake. The cheers turned into prayers, celebrations became moments of reflection, and we were reminded that beyond every title and every victory, life itself is our greatest blessing.

These medals carry a deeper meaning. They are no longer just symbols of being the best inside the ring, but reminders of the strength, courage, and resilience that we carry even outside of it.

To our athletes, coaches, parents, and the entire Muaythai family, thank you for showing what it truly means to be a warrior. A true fighter does not only rise after being knocked down in the ring, but also rises after life’s unexpected challenges.

Our hearts may have been shaken, but our spirit remains unbroken.
