MAYARI F.C is the non-varsity Futsal Team of the Mindanao State University of General Santos City.

Mayari FC is named after Filipino Mythology Goddess of War embodied by our very own players with their tenacity and drive for the beautiful game.

Preferably:

1. Regional/National Level Athletes
2. Extensive experience in futsal
3. 1st year and 2nd year students
4. Born 2001 and onwards only

But still, this is Open for all MSU Gensan Students regardless of aforementioned preferences.

𝗠𝗦𝗨 𝗠𝗔𝗬𝗔𝗥𝗜 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲𝗱 𝟮𝗻𝗱 𝗥𝘂𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗿-𝘂𝗽 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗪𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻'𝘀 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗻 𝗖𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗼𝗿𝘆

In the recently concluded, 75th Glan Founding Anniversary Football Tournament, the team played as one and did their best resulting them to won 2nd Runner-up against 8 teams from different football club. They played fair and had shown sportsmanship in every game.

Real athletes respects referee's decision, accept defeat, and learn from it. It's not just about winning or losing, but to learn about teamwork, and learn about discipline. The value of working together for a common goal.

𝐌𝐒𝐔 𝐌𝐀𝐘𝐀𝐑𝐈 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞𝐝 𝟐𝐧𝐝 𝐑𝐮𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐫-𝐮𝐩 𝐨𝐧 𝐇𝐢𝐜𝐛𝐚𝐧’𝐬 𝟐𝐧𝐝 𝐅𝐮𝐭𝐬𝐚𝐥 𝐓𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭

Over the 10 teams from different clubs over Region 12 joined the event held at Hicban Subdivision last June 22, 2024 — the team exerted their 100% effort and got the bronze medal.

𝗙𝗨𝗧𝗦𝗔𝗟 𝗗𝗘𝗠𝗢 𝗨𝗣𝗗𝗔𝗧𝗘

The MSUSAA Unity Games are expected to include futsal in next year's tournament, following a successful demonstration by the MSU-GenSan futsal squad today, June 4, at the University Open Court.

Generals head coach, Prof. Jay Carlo Bagayas, has advocated for the inclusion of futsal for the past three years to provide equal opportunities for women, leading to its feature in the MSU-GenSan Intramurals 2023 and official inclusion in the next Intramurals. Meanwhile, assistant coach, Daniel Angeles, revealed that although futsal was planned for this year's MSUSAA Unity Games, it required an exhibition before formal inclusion, and the team is now eager to make a significant impact in next year's contest.
