This wasn’t just a race. This was heart, hustle, and community all in one morning.

Joem, we see you. Behind every smooth km marker, every water station, every finisher’s medal, was your leadership, your sleepless nights, and your “kayang-kaya natin ‘to” energy. You carried the weight so hundreds of runners could just show up and fly. That’s not easy. But you did it with grace.

And to Foodium Runners Club Inc., What a family we’ve built. We didn’t just organize distance. We organized belonging. First-timers felt safe. Veterans felt home. Strangers became pacers for each other. From warm-up to cool-down, the vibe was pure, no toxicity, no comparison, just present. Just like running should be.

Padre de Zamora today wasn’t just pavement and finish lines. It was proof that when people lead with purpose, a fun run becomes healing. Kids running with parents. New runners crying at the finish. Old friends high-fiving at km 5. All because you said yes to the hard work no one claps for.

So congrats, Team Foodium. For the permits, the planning, the early morning doubts, the last-minute fixes, thank you. You gave our community more than miles. You gave us peace, purpose, and a reason to keep moving.

So from all of us at Hambabalud Running Club, thank you. For the work no one sees. For choosing service over spotlight. For proving that the best races are the ones where everyone wins.

Thank you, Angel Dinolan Gantalao , our race marshal! You didn’t just stand on the course with your direction. While we were counting kilometers and fighting our own doubts, you were counting on us, cheering for us, and making sure every runner stayed safe and hydrated.

From the first wave to the last finisher, your ‘good morning, kaya mo yan!’ and that genuine smile gave us energy when our legs felt heavy. Your ‘labank lang, malapit na!’ pushed us when we wanted to walk. That’s not just marshal duty that’s heart.

Strong finishes happen because of runners’ grit, yes. But they also happen because of marshals like you, rain or heat, tired or not. You sacrificed your comfort so we could chase our goals.

From all of us who crossed that finish line, thank you, Miss Angel. You may not get a finisher’s medal, but you deserve all of them. You’re part of every PR, every strong finish, every story we’ll tell about this race.
