Calinog Football Club

As we end our campaign in the U8 IGRFA 8v8 Tournament, we would like to congratulate our football players for giving their all throughout the competition. Even though we fell short of reaching the semifinals, competing in the Division 1 cluster alongside strong and experienced teams was already a worthwhile learning experience.

Every match tested their characters, teamwork, and determination, and these experiences will surely help them grow stronger in the future.

We would also like to sincerely thank all the parents, supporters, coaches, and everyone who stood behind and cheered for the team throughout this journey. Your support and encouragement meant so much to our young players.

It is disappointing that some individuals for the sake of fun (tripping) damaged parts of the football facility while the municipal tournament is still ongoing. This field is a shared space built for all athletes and the community, and such actions show a lack of respect for the game, the organisers, and the players.
Sports promotes discipline, unity, and respect. And we see no respect for these actions. While some may see it as “fun,” such actions ultimately deprive players of their rightful source of enjoyment.
