Sitio Baliguian Island is a remote community in Concepcion, Iloilo, with approximately 250 families whose primary sources of income are farming and selling goods in the local market.

Through the collective efforts of our sponsors, volunteers, and benefactors, we were able to raise a total of ₱80,000 worth of cash and in-kind donations, which helped us successfully conduct the following activities:

• Feeding Program• Gift Giving• Fun Games for Children• Dental and Medical Services• Free Haircuts

This outreach program would not have been possible without the kindness and generosity of everyone who shared their time, resources, and support. Together, we brought smiles, hope, and meaningful assistance to the community.

Together, we can make a difference.

We, Travelers of the Panay – Team Iloilo, would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to Mayor Francisco L. Calvo, Ma’am Evelyn Calvo, the DOT Office of Calinog, and the 12th Infantry Battalion for granting us a special permit to climb Mt. Baloy on May 1–3, 2026.

While Mt. Baloy in the Calinog area remains officially closed to the public, we are deeply honored to have been given the opportunity to conduct a pilot climb. Our group proudly served as the pioneer team to test the trail, contributing to its preparation for future mountaineers following the trail assessment conducted by the LGU last April 25–29, 2026.

We look forward to the day when Mt. Baloy officially opens and can be safely enjoyed by the wider hiking community.
