Ilongga taekwondo athlete Juliana Martha H. Uy brought pride to Iloilo and the Philippines after winning two gold medals in three World Taekwondo ranking tournaments held in South Korea and Indonesia.

A former Ateneo de Iloilo–Santa Maria Catholic School varsity athlete and Poomsae Team Captain, Uy represented the Philippine National Team under the Philippine Sports Commission. She reached the quarterfinals of the Individual Recognized Poomsae Under 30 Female category in two tournaments in South Korea before helping the national team capture gold in the Women's Team Under 30 event at the Kimunyong Cup and the 8th Asian Taekwondo Indonesia Open Championships.

Uy's achievements highlight Ilongga excellence on the international stage and continue to inspire aspiring athletes across the region.
