𝙍𝙪𝙩𝙝 𝙇𝙖𝙯𝙖𝙧𝙤 is a passionate dancer, performer, and instructor who began her artistic journey as 𝙤𝙣𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙥𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙚𝙚𝙧 𝙢𝙚𝙢𝙗𝙚𝙧𝙨 of Kawilihan-USA under the direction of Mrs. Annie Divinagracia Sartorio. It was within this dance troupe that she built her foundation and discovered her true artistic voice.
A self-described late bloomer, Ruth pursued training across a wide range of dance styles, including Belly Dance, Hula/Ori Tahiti, Chairlesque, Heels, Salsa, Bachata, Kizomba, and various forms of Ballroom Dancing. Her versatility also extends to Streetdance, Latin American Dancesport, Jazz, and Contemporary.
She has competed in numerous local and international competitions—earning recognition and awards in Streetdance, Latin American Dancesport, Jazz, and Contemporary Dance.
Ruth was part of the main cast of the 𝙖𝙬𝙖𝙧𝙙-𝙬𝙞𝙣𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙪𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙒𝙤𝙧𝙠𝙚𝙧 by Mrs. Sartorio. The piece won 1st place at the T’nalak Festival and became Champion at the 3rd Junior International Delphic Games in the Contemporary Category. Kawilihan was also honored with the prestigious 𝘼𝙣𝙞 𝙣𝙜 𝘿𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙖𝙡 𝘼𝙬𝙖𝙧𝙙 𝙖𝙨 𝘽𝙚𝙨𝙩 𝘿𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙏𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙥𝙚 at the Malacañang Palace.
Her artistry has been showcased on esteemed national platforms such as 𝙎𝙖𝙮𝙖𝙬 𝙋𝙞𝙣𝙤𝙮, 𝙋𝙖𝙨𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙮𝙖, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝘾𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙢𝙖𝙡𝙖𝙮𝙖, as well as on international stages including the 𝙎𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙝𝙖𝙞 𝙒𝙤𝙧𝙡𝙙 𝙀𝙭𝙥𝙤 2010 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙚 20𝙩𝙝 𝙒𝙤𝙧𝙡𝙙 𝘾𝙝𝙖𝙢𝙥𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨𝙝𝙞𝙥𝙨 𝙤𝙛 𝙋𝙚𝙧𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝘼𝙧𝙩𝙨 (𝙒𝘾𝙊𝙋𝘼), where she performed with 𝘿𝙤𝙨 𝙋𝙖𝙧𝙚𝙨 𝙖𝙡𝙤𝙣𝙜𝙨𝙞𝙙𝙚 𝙛𝙚𝙡𝙡𝙤𝙬 𝙆𝙖𝙬𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙝𝙖𝙣 𝙖𝙡𝙪𝙢𝙣𝙪𝙨 𝙅𝙝𝙤𝙣𝙜 𝙈𝙚𝙣𝙙𝙞𝙤𝙡𝙖.
Driven by her passion to inspire and uplift the dance community, Ruth 𝙛𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙙𝙚𝙙 𝘿𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙢𝙚𝙧𝙨 𝘼𝙘𝙖𝙙𝙚𝙢𝙮 𝘿𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙎𝙩𝙪𝙙𝙞𝙤—creating a space where aspiring dancers can grow, express themselves, and believe in their dreams.
Last year, she was recognized as one of the 𝘽𝙪𝙜𝙖𝙡 𝘼𝙬𝙖𝙧𝙙𝙚𝙚𝙨 𝙤𝙛 𝙆𝙖𝙬𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙝𝙖𝙣-𝙐𝙎𝘼.
Currently, she serves as a 𝙍𝙚𝙨𝙞𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝘼𝙧𝙩𝙞𝙨𝙩 of the Iloilo Bereber Dance Theatre Company under the direction of Novy Bereber, and is the 𝙛𝙞𝙧𝙨𝙩 𝙘𝙚𝙧𝙩𝙞𝙛𝙞𝙚𝙙 𝘽𝙪𝙣𝙜𝙚𝙚 𝙋𝙝𝙮𝙨𝙞𝙤 𝙄𝙣𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙪𝙘𝙩𝙤𝙧 in the Philippines.
