As a boy of 10, he was one of those featured in Swim Philippines Magazine’s May 2013 issue. He dreamt of being a member of the Philippine Swimming Team.

Fast forward to 2025, on 28 September to 10 October, he will be on his 6th outing as a member of the Philippine team. This time he’s bound for Ahmedabad, India for the 11th Asian Aquatics Championships.

When Nautilus Swim Club started in 2011, he was the youngest swimmer. He has earned several monikers from his teammates. One that really stuck is Monkey. He was a restless young one, always moving around and climbing whatever he can climb. Now, he is the oldest Nauti Swimmer and everyone’s Manong Raymund.

Good luck Monkey/Manong Raymund! Bring Iloilo to the world. Your Nauti Family is rallying for you and Team Philippines!
