Here's the podcast interview that I did in July with Amanda Knox for her series on vigilante justice. The interview is an hour long and features several experts on superhero vigilantes, including Seattle's Phoenix Jones. My segment starts at around the 12 minute mark but the entire hour, as well as the whole season, is worth a listen.
Someday the Superhero Foundry will rise again.

EPILOGUE: The Superhero Foundry was built to become the world's first superhero training center. We worked hard to develop our physical, mental and social skills in order to help the world become a better place. The concept was simple: "Teaching citizens to think like superheroes to create a society of altruistic individuals who were willing to do good for the sake of humanity."
Theoretically, the concept made sense. But economically, it failed. The city of Las Vegas isn't interested in saving people. It's only interested in making money. The exorbitant costs of operation and mostly transient community were the kryptonite that led to our demise.
After 5 years of operation, the Superhero Foundry is closing its doors. But we hope that the heroes who have walked through these halls and trained through the pain, sweat, and tears, will continue to fight the good fight. And remember, even through TSF is gone, the spirit of the hero now resides within each and every one of you.
Do what others can't. Be who others won't.
