Panay Clergy Basketball League est. 2025

Ola!!!we are getting nearer to the finals!!!
But before that witness the action filled matches of the Semi- finals in La Purissima College Covered Gym in Capiz.
The 4th seed Antique Clergy will battle the 3rd seed host team Capiz Clergy in the 1 st game which will begin at 1:pm. On the other hand, No. 1 seed Kalibo Clergy will rumble toe- to- toe against its rival to the finals no. 2 seed Jaro Clergy at 3pm. We all back to nothing! Who will be the two teams to advance for the Championship?… bet on your teams and see you there to know the answer on August 11, 2025/ Monday.

In a close fight with a score 49-40, Kalibo Clergy denied Antique Clergy for even just a win in the 1st round. Antique Clergy gave Kalibo Clergy a tough match before securing their win and the top spot in the team standing. Kalibo clinched their win top spot in the team standings via tie break by points differential. Kalibo defeated Jaro in their game in Passi City with 15 points . While lJaro during their game in Tangalan defeated Kalibo with only 12 points.
Semi- finals is set to take place in the Archdiocese of Capiz. Having played all the games in the 1st round,
Kalibo Clergy in the 1st seed will face Antique Clergy as the 4th seed and on the other hand, Jaro the 2nd seed will battle the host Capiz the 3rd seed on August 11, 2025.

Brave 5!!! Vs the Fresh Legs!!!!
Antique battled against Capiz clergy even with only 5 players and fought head to head though they fall short with a score 84-76 in their first match last June 30, 2025 at Biniriyan Sports Complex, San Jose de Antique from an overtime game.
The following day July 1, 2025 in suppose to be a rematch, Antique Clergy hasn’t expected an injury of their 3 key players which disabled them to play. Hence the game was declared won by Capiz Clergy.
Antique Clergy still has one game left versus Kalibo Clergy on July 7, 2025. Will they get even just one win? For now let us congratulate the Capiz Clergy for winning all the matches they have between Antique Clergy.

Having won the last two games, Capiz Clergy take the 3rd seed in the team Standings.
Antique Clergy failed to step up the ladder of the team standings and remained in the 4th seed. Jaro Clergy meanwhile is at the top and Kalibo Clergy is looking to take it if they secure a win versus Antique Clergy. Semi- finals is getting closer and the intense of the games are also getting high. Stay tuned for the next level of competition in a brotherly and priestly league.

At last! Jaro Clergy won in front of their fans in Passi City.

The Jaro Clergy gave Antique their 3rd loss. Jaro Clergy with that win takes the top spot. It was their last game in the 1st round and will wait for the semis. Antique Clergy still have 3 games left versus Capiz ( 2 games) and Kalibo ( 1 game). Shouts for cheers of the fans of Jaro Clergy pay off as Jaro Clergy defeated Antique Clergy in a close match with the score 55-51. Here’s the Updated Team Standings as of June 25, 2025. Jaro Clergy reclaimed the top spot after outlasted Antique Clergy in their game last June 23, 2025 in Passi City. Kalibo Clergy follows but they can still join Jaro at the top if they beat Antique in their remaining game for the first round. Antique takes the 3rd spot after having received their 3rd loss and can continue to own the spot if they win their last 3 games in the first round. Capiz on the other hand will have to compete with Antique if they don’t want to settle in the last spot. With only 2 games remaining in the first round which is all versus Antique Clergy, this must be a tough competition to happen.
