Four years ago, Guimaras State University entered a new chapter in its history. What followed was a continuing pursuit of learning, inquiry, and service; carried forward by educators who shaped minds, personnel who sustained the institution, students who gave meaning to its mission, and communities that placed their trust in it.
The story of GSU did not begin with its universityhood. It was built through decades of aspiration and unflinching work by those who came before. Today, as we commemorate our 4th Anniversary as a University, we honor that inheritance while carrying its promise into the years ahead.
This occasion belongs to every member of the GSU familyโpast and presentโwhose labor, conviction, and commitment have helped shape the institutionโs course.
As another year unfolds, may we remain guided by the values that brought us here and the responsibility that comes with serving future generations.
Happy 4th University Anniversary, Guimaras State University!
The journey continues.

" BPED 2- A takes safety seriously! " Today, GSU's Judo Room transformed into a hub of hope as BPED 2-A joined forces with Buenavista MDRRMO for an impactful First Aid and Emergency Preparedness Training โ masterfully led by Sir Francis Hiponia. Every bandage tied, every pulse checked, and every technique learned is a promise of our future movement educators are making to protect and empower our communities.
Our students rolled up their sleeves to dive deep into life-saving techniques: mastering CPR, perfecting wound care, navigating emergency response protocols, and learning how to stay calm when every second counts. Because being strong isn't just about physical strength โ it's about having the skills to be someone's hero when they need it most! ๐โจ
A Huge thank you to Dr.Ervin Labestre Isogon and Dr. Jepphunee Bereber Dunton Isogon- for your invaluable support in making this activity happen and for ensuring its great success!
