Behind every dragon boat race is a great team of race officials and organizers. We might not see them racing, not aboard the boats, but these people work on the sidelines to make sure everything is safe, fair and fun for the competitors.
For the LoVe Boracay International Dragon Boat Festival 2026, we recognize the meaningful collaboration between the Philippine Dragon Boat Federation and the Boracay Dragon Boat Assn BDBA that translated into nothing but good words and gratitude from the almost 50 local and international teams that participated in this race.

Oftentimes, being a race official and organizer is a thankless and ruthless job. If things go wrong, it's their fault. When things are right, they're often overlooked. But these people are not part of the race for the recognition or glory. It's that spirit of volunteerism and community, that eagerness to serve paddlers, that make them want to share their energy, time and talent to the greater dragon boat community.
Thank you, race officials and organizers! :)

Last LOVEBoracay International Dragon Boat Festival 2026, majority of the 30 international teams transited Manila going to or from Boracay. What great way to spend hours of layover but to visit one of the most iconic landmarks in Manila - the Rizal Park Luneta!
Through the generosity and support of the National Parks Development Committee, teams from New Zealand, Singapore and Australia had the chance to visit this historical site. And those who came had nothing short of wonderful words and memories in this short visit. The very capable staff and trainees of the NPDC allowed the dragon boat paddlers to appreciate a glimpse of our nation’s history through the Rizal Park Luneta. This is the second year that the NPDC opened its gates to dragon boat paddlers of the LOVEBoracay International Dragon Boat Festival.
Maraming salamat, NPDC sa patuloy na suporta. Mabuhay po ang management at buong team ng NPDC.

Congratulations to dragon boat athletes who competed in The 26th Asian Beach Games Sanya 2026 in China last week. We are likewise proud of the contribution and able representation in the said continental championship by PDBF Secretary General Marcia Cristobal who served as chief judge, among the other equally competent international technical officials of the Asian Dragon Boat Federation where the Philippine Dragon Boat Federation is a proud member.
It is an absolute honor serving dragon boat athletes from around the world as ITO and IRO in regional and world championships, as well as in the national level.
