Live stream is FREE and will officially be released by the IDBF on their legitimate social media platforms in the next few days. Do watch out for that.

Top teams of the Philippine Dragon Boat Federation are given opportunity to compete in what many call as the "Olympics of Dragon Boat," the Club Crew World Championships of the International Dragon Boat Federation (IDBF). The 15th CCWC will be held on September 1 to 6, 2026 in Hualien, Taiwan.

We wish you all the success in the biggest dragon boat race of your life, with more than 5,000 competitors and about a week of dragon boat paddling, this is an experience you will never get outside IDBF and PDBF.

Good morning, teams.

In light of the water condition at Manila Bay today, which is expected to become even worse tomorrow, 3rd LEG, 2026 PDBF Regatta is CANCELLED and RESCHEDULED on September 27, 2026.

The PDBF board arrived at this decision after considering the situation this morning and notwithstanding the equally split sense of the teams whether to proceed or cancel the race tomorrow. Boats could not be brought to Dolomite Beach, despite attempts by some teams due to the swells. The race course setup team also reported that the water appears to be dangerous just for the setup today. PDBF will NEVER compromise safety of anyone, competitor, staff or volunteer.

We will process the refund of those that already paid their race fee.

We hope for your understanding on the matter as we wish everyone’s safety amid this rainy season.

Remembering that epic win in the 1st IDBF World Cup in 2014, where only the best of the best in the world are qualified to compete. Top 12 in world rankings only. The Philippines won gold in this event and was the only country that snatched a gold from the formidable crew of China. In the medal tally, the Philippines ranked second to China, only shy by one gold to take the top spot.
