LAST RUNNER STANDING — Nacario Christian!
After 11 demanding rounds of grit, endurance, and determination, Christian Nacario emerged as the Last Runner Standing at the Irosin Caldera Backyard Ultra in Irosin, Sorsogon. He completed an incredible 11 loops covering 73.7 kilometers—returning to the starting line hour after hour and refusing to give up until the very end.
The backyard ultra is more than a test of speed. With runners challenged to complete a 6.7-kilometer loop every hour, it becomes a battle of patience, strategy, physical strength, and mental toughness. Every completed loop is a victory, and every return to the starting corral is another courageous decision to keep going.
Congratulations to Christian on this remarkable achievement! Your resilience and fighting spirit truly represent what ultrarunning is all about.
A huge salute also goes to all the runners who stepped onto the course and gave everything they had. Whether you completed one loop or ten, every kilometer tells a story of courage, discipline, and perseverance. You pushed beyond your comfort zone, faced the challenge head-on, and became part of an unforgettable event.
Thank you to the organizers, volunteers, supporters, families, and everyone who helped make the Irosin Caldera Backyard Ultra possible. Your energy and encouragement carried the runners through every difficult hour.
Until the next starting bell—keep showing up, keep moving forward, and keep chasing your limits. 🔔🔥
