Some mornings you get to sit across from people who've been quietly building this community for years.

Soroptimist International of Kalibo Lumina and Run Aklan paid a courtesy call to Governor Jose Enrique "Joen" Miraflores today, and we walked away grateful. His office has long been a champion of sports tourism in Aklan, and just as importantly, of empowering women across the province. Two things this event stands for.

Having his support behind LUMINA: Dreams in Motion means a lot to us. Thank you, Gov! 💛

Same , one fun twist, we’re getting hyped for 𝗘𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗪𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗗𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗥𝘂𝗻 𝗜𝗹𝗼𝗶𝗹𝗼 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 happening this Sunday.

Perfect weather the whole way. Cool air, easy pace, the kind of morning that makes 23K feel shorter than it is.

And then ASU Banga happened — rolled in and just stood there for a second, taking in those trees. Some views are worth the whole run on their own.

No reason to stop the long runs now. Honestly? This might be a regular thing.
