Koronadal student-athletes hauled four gold, three silver and five bronze medals at the 2026 SMART MVPSF R12A Regional Inter-School Taekwondo Championships on Aug. 29 in Tacurong City.

Representing the City Government of Koronadal, the athletes competed in kyorugi and poomsae events against student-athletes from across Region 12. Coaches credited disciplined training and improved competition strategies for the team’s strong finish.

ANNOUNCEMENT | NO TAEKWONDO TRAINING!

Please be informed that there will be no Taekwondo training today until Saturday as our team will be participating in the 2026 MVP Sports Foundation National Interschool Taekwondo Championships in Manila.

Regular training will resume on Monday August 24, 2026z

Please be guided accordingly. Thank you for your understanding and continued support.

Sa mga nakaraang buwan, sunod-sunod ang mga balita ng karahasan at patayan na kinasasangkutan ng mga kabataan. Nakakalungkot at Nakakapagpabagabag ito ng damdamin.💔

Kaya heto kami, ang XP Hoops Family, ay NANANAWAGAN.

Mga magulang, mga g**o, mga kapatid - i-encourage natin ang ating mga kabataan na bumalik sa court, sa field, sa sports.

BAKIT?

DISIPLINA AT RESPETO - Sa sports, natututo ang bata ng disiplina sa oras, sa pagsunod sa coach, at paggalang sa kakampi at kalaban. Tinuturuan tayo ng sports na manalo nang marangal at matalo nang may dignidad.

ABALA SA TAMA - Kapag abala ang kabataan sa training, practice, at laro, mas kaunti ang oras para sa gulo, droga, at karahasan. Ang pawis napupunta sa goal, hindi sa away.

TEAMWORK AT PAGMAMAHAL SA KAPWA - Sa court, natututo tayo na hindi lahat kaya mo mag-isa. Natututo tayong magtiwala, magtulungan, at mag-alalayan. Walang iwanan. Walang patayan.

Hindi natin sinasabi na masama ang online games. Pero sa panahon ngayon, KAILANGAN NG MGA BATA NG GALAW, NG HINGAL, NG TUNAY NA KASAMA. Kailangan nila ng coach na magtuturo, ng kakampi na sasalo, at ng laban na patas.

PILIPINAS, IBALIK NATIN ANG MGA BATA SA SPORTS.
Para sa kinabukasan nila. Para sa bayan natin. Para hindi na madagdagan pa ang listahan ng mga kabataang nasasayang ang buhay.
