CORDILLERA PRIDE: IGOROT ATHLETE RHOKSON KIMAKIN BAGGED THE PRO CARD AT MUSCLE CONTEST PHILIPPINES 2025

In a thrilling display of strength and discipline, Rhokson Ganase Kimakim, an Igorot bodybuilder with roots in both Benguet and Mountain Province, clinched the coveted IFBB Pro Card by dominating the Classic Physique division at the Muscle Contest Philippines 2025.

The event unfolded at the Upper Deck Sports Center in Pasig City on October 25, 2025.

Hailing from a blended heritage, his father's side from Bontoc in Mountain Province and his mother's from Buguias in Benguet, Kimakim has emerged as a standout talent.

"After 8 years, we're finally an IFBB Pro. It has been a long journey, and now we reach it. But that doesn't mean it stops here. It only means, we have to level up to the next competition and do good in the pro level," Kimakin said in an FB video post.

The Muscle Contest stands as one of the Philippines' premier bodybuilding spectacles, sanctioned by the IFBB Pro League. It draws elite competitors vying for pro status, with victors in each category earning the elite IFBB Pro Card, which opens doors to high-stakes international competitions.
