Whether you’re a first-timer or a former athlete, come prepared and showcase your skills this might be your Time!

Try out for athletics will be on July 5,2025 at Benguet

We’re thrilled to announce the outstanding achievements of our athletes at this year’s championship! Their hard work, passion, and dedication have resulted in an impressive medal haul:

Your commitment has made us incredibly proud, and we are grateful to all who supported this journey. Our deepest thanks go to the Almighty for granting us the strength to achieve this. We also extend our heartfelt gratitude to our dedicated coaches, Sir Fermin Tanas and Sir Johnergie Juan, and to our parents for their unwavering support throughout every competition.

A special acknowledgment goes to The Benguet Athletics Track and Field Club Inc., led by Sir Johnergie, for organizing this remarkable event, giving athletes the chance to showcase their skills. We are also grateful to the Local Government of Benguet for its continued support of sports, especially athletics.

BENGUET NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL CLAIMS CHAMPIONSHIP AT LA TRINIDAD DISTRICT ATHLETIC MEET 2024

Benguet National High School once again proved its athletic prowess, emerging as the overall champion of the La Trinidad District Athletic Meet 2024 with an impressive 46 medals, including 21 golds, 15 silvers, and 10 bronzes. The perennial powerhouse’s dominance in track and field events has secured its position as the top school, with no competition in sight for the coveted title.

However, the race for the runner-up spots is heating up. Cordillera Career Development College (3 gold, 2 silver, 5 bronze) and Saint Therese School of Tomay Incorporated (3 gold, 1 silver, 1 bronze) are in close competition, with both schools eyeing the second and third places. Ambiong National High School and Alno National High School round out the top contenders, maintaining strong performances across various events.

As the meet wraps up, the remaining rankings for the lower spots remain too close to call, with schools like La Trinidad National High School, Eastern La Trinidad National High School, Cordillera Regional Science High School, and Bineng National High School still in the mix.

A total of 12 schools participated in the La Trinidad District Athletic Meet 2024 Track & Field event, including Holy Chapel Educational Center, HOPE Christian Academy Incorporated, and San Jose School of La Trinidad Incorporated. Unfortunately, these schools were unable to secure any medals this year, but their athletes’ spirit and determination are still commendable.

A big congratulations to all the students, coaches, and supporters who made this victory possible. The school community is incredibly proud of the athletes who competed and excelled, making Benguet National High School shine brightly in the 2024 athletic meet. Special recognition also goes to our other teams and schools in the district for their impressive performances. Together, we continue to inspire each other to reach new heights in sports.
