New Divemaster | Dive Guide Materials Available Now
The revised Divemaster | Dive Guide program is now live and replaces the current Dive Guide materials. Students can still enroll in the Dive Guide as a Specialty Program, however the material is now called "Divemaster | Dive Guide".
If a student intends to become a professional, you can also register them directly for the Divemaster Kit. This automatically adds the Professional Registration Fee to either the training center’s or candidate’s shopping cart and grants the student access to the Science of Diving materials.
For students enrolled in the current Dive Guide program, they have until the end of March to complete their academic training using the existing materials. Starting April 1st, all program content will transition to the new materials. If a student has not completed their training and certification by then, it is not a problem—but any progress they have made in the current system, including any notes added, and completed reviews will no longer be available.
You may continue teaching with the current program materials until April 1st. After that date, the old materials will be removed from the download area, and all instruction should be based on the new program materials.
Please ensure your students are aware of this timeline and encourage them to complete their academics before the transition if possible. If you have any questions or need further clarification, contact your Service Center.
