BRP FILIFINO FLOJO (PC386) and BRP ENRIQUE JURADO (PC371) played a crucial role as an es**rt and sea marshal for the official galleon, M/V SANTO NIÑO-CEBU, during the Sinulog 2025 Fluvial Procession. This involvement was essential for ensuring the safety and security of all participants and the smooth ex*****on of this significant cultural and religious tradition in the Visayas.
Alongside BRP FILIFINO FLOJO (PC386), other naval assets from Naval Task Force 50, including BRP WARAY (LC288), BRP AGTA (290), BRP ENRIQUE JURADO (PC371), and two (2) PBL units from NAVSOU5-Central, also participated in the Sinulog 2025 Fluvial Procession. The event took place in the vicinity of the Cebu-Mactan Channel on 180600 - 0800H January 2025.

This unit was adjudged and awarded as NFC Littoral Combat Ship of the Year for its exceptional readiness, operational success, and commitment to mission excellence. Further, in lieu of LCDR JOVEN J CADELIÑA PN, Commanding Officer, PC386, LCDR RAYMOORE A ARTATES PN, Acting Commanding Officer, PC386, received the Plaque of Recognition given by VADM TORIBIO D ADACI JR PN, Flag Officer in Command, Philippine Navy as the guest of honor and speaker during the said event.

PN 𝐌𝐨𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐳𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐄𝐱𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐢𝐬𝐞 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒: 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐄𝐱𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞!
From September 30 to October 8, 2024, the Philippine Navy thru Naval Forces Central conducted the Mobilization Exercise 2024 aboard Naval Forces Central AOR. This intensive event showcased their capabilities through dynamic demonstrations, community outreach activities, and at-sea events including various scenarios and maneuvers.
The said activity was spearheaded by COMMO FLORANTE N GAGUA PN, the Commander, Naval Forces Central (CNFC) together with CAPT WELMER C BASE PN(GSC), the Exercise Director of PN MOBEX 2024 aboard NFC AOR. The event was participated by PN Reservists from Naval Reserve Center - Eastern Visayas (NRCen-EV) along with PN surface and air assets namely: BRP APOLINARIO MABINI (PS36); BRP BATAK (LC299); BRP FILIPINO FLOJO (PC386); BEECHCRAFT KING AIR C90 (NV392); and two (2) Patrol Boat Light from NAVSOU5 came together to train hard, enhancing their skills and preparedness.
Furthermore, training is essential for mission readiness, empowering them to face any challenges with confidence!

LOOK: BRP FILIPINO FLOJO (PC386) On 07 October 2024, personnel of this unit participated in a Joint Monday Morning Colors Ceremony and Rank Inspection together with NTF50 floating assets held at Capt. Veloso Pier, Naval Base Rafael Ramos, Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu. The activity aims to ensure personnel meet the specific standards, comply with regulations, and maintain professionalism. This included checking of proper uniform, grooming standards, identification verification, and overall readiness or fitness of personnel.
