From humble beginnings to national gloryโCoach Niรฑo Rio Saoy embodies what it means to be a true warrior.
Join Ni**od Quiรฑones as he sits down with Saoyโa Filipino professional boxer, mixed martial artist, and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu brown belt. A former member of the Philippine Muay Thai national team, he has represented the country in international competition and built an impressive career across boxing, Muay Thai, MMA, and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
Recently, he struck gold twiceโfirst at the National Try-Out for Contact Ju-Jitsu (under 68kg), earning his spot on the Philippine National Team, and then at the Ju-Jitsu Thailand Championships, where he dominated the 68kg adult division.
From white belt beginnings to multiple gold medals as a brown belt, his journey is defined by discipline, resilience, and relentless pursuit of excellenceโboth as a competitor and as a coach shaping the next generation of fighters.
