The Department of Civil Engineering bridges the gap to reach the championships. Against the Department of Physical Therapy in Match 5, they barely make it through and are on track to face the Department of Tourism Management.

In the match between the Civilians and the Department of Foreign Languages, they gain the upper hand and earn the right to go against the Department of Physical Therapy for the Number 1 Contender's Position.

While the Mambas takes their first loss at the hands of Vantage on Friday the 13th, it must be Groundhog Day for the Department of Tourism Management, since not only did they once again win the match but, with Maree Julliana Lopez, garner the best speaker award.

The Vantage Debate Club of Tourism, take home the vantage point with the team both scoring the victory and the best speaker for the match thanks to the Leader of the Opposition and Opposition Whip, Maree Julliana Lopez!

PT and FL make history as LCIC's first ever victors and redemption arc beginners with the college's match finishing up with the Infallible Mambas gaining the first victory of the tournament.
Will the Blazing Phoenix rise from the ashes against their second match ups or will they remain embers in the sand?

Although missing the first point, FL lands the first match best speaker title with Glozalle Karylle Deniega stepping in as both Leader of the Opposition and Opposition Whip.
