[Journal Entry #6]

"On the path to the bulk, abs might be lost along the way" - old gymbro proverb 🏋️

Given that I've been focusing a lot more on strength training, it's no surprise that my abs have taken a dip. I have however, gained a few more pounds and I do feel a lot larger (and in a good way)! Now that I'm in a pretty good place, I think I've gained roughly 8-10 more pounds, I've decided to go recomp on my training. This will allow me to get a bit more rest, and to have more training times. The shift won't be too big, but I will be training more in a day - 4 times a week into twice a day - 4 times a week. Which will allow me to really invest in strength training while giving me the breathing space for more rep-focused and accessory work later in the day.

I'm looking forward to a physique check in a month (or maybe two!)!

Been working on my game for a while now, might finally invest in an actual pull-up bar in my home gym set-up.

Before that we got
1.) Strict pull-ups
2.) L-sit pull-ups
3.) Weighted pull-ups

Is it just me or less clothes = more power?

[Journal Entry #5]

When I couldn't do pull-ups I was around 160 lbs and counted as 'obese'. Now, at around 120-125 lbs, I can do 40 lbs + .

Around 3 years ago, in my Freshman year in college, I had some really bad acid reflux. It was a result of my drastic diet change because I wanted to lose weight as fast as possible. I hated my body and I disliked how I looked. I'm 5 4" and at the time I was 160 lbs - on the bmi scale I was counted as obese. I knew I felt heavy, but I didn't realize how much finding out had affected me. Anyways, I had done a ton fad diets and neglected my carbs and overall diet count. My stomach shrank and was pretty messed up. I'm pretty stubborn so I still made it to school, but my grades were getting affected as well (having no carbs means having no brain power).

Flash-forward to today I have a lot more carbs in my diet. I'm counting calories and that's how I keep my or plays in check (rn I'm in a slight bulk, with a bigger focus on maintenance). Additionally, I'm a lot more comfortable with my body and I feel like I can do a lot more. That's what happens when you're with the changes in your body. Everything sort of works itself out when your put in the and .

[FITNESS JOURNAL ENTRY #1]

Recently I've been trying to figure out the purpose of my 'fit IG' but I think it just boils down to using it the way I feel like I can express myself best!

So in other words, I'm gonna start cranking out a personal fitness journal along with the occasional workout tips. Just to give an in-depth look at my journey. It did involve a lot of trial and error, but I do think it was for the better in a lot of ways.

Right now I have a look for myself that I really did enjoy doing, because it really made me see how far I've come despite the !
