Great training with my Ray Galea of RRK Melbourne.
We reviewed the first five Rapido Realismo Kali (RRK) combinations, which consist of two strike combinations,
along with the double stick solo drill
and the flow drill for all five combinations.

RRK Camp 2026 Instructor Feature
Tagapagturo Jozef Henri Elefant
Level 2 Instructor, Rapido Realismo Kali
Head Instructor, RRK Makati
G**o Jozef Henri Elefant is the Head Instructor of RRK Makati and an active teacher of Rapido Realismo Kali, guiding students in the practical use of stick, blade, and empty hand combat under the principles of the system.
He is also the founder of Elefant Kali, a personal expression of his martial arts experience and continuing study. His approach reflects the belief that martial arts must keep evolving through training, cross-training, pressure testing, and adaptation to different combative situations.
One of G**o Jozef’s defining contributions is his strong emphasis on actual sparring. Through his monthly Sparring Gatherings, practitioners from different styles are given the opportunity to train, exchange knowledge, and test their skills in a controlled but realistic environment. For him, sparring is an essential part of training because it exposes what works against a moving, resisting, and adjusting opponent.
His teaching approach prioritizes timing, distance management, reflex development, adaptability, and practical decision-making. Rather than relying only on drills or forms, he emphasizes functional application and the ability to adjust under pressure.
Beyond Rapido Realismo Kali, G**o Jozef continues to study other martial arts systems, including Pekiti-Tirsia Kali, HEMA, and Silat. This open approach to learning reflects his belief that martial arts is a lifelong process of refinement.
As an instructor, he is known for practical, direct, and realistic teaching. He explains not only how techniques are performed, but how and when they can be applied in real situations. His classes emphasize discipline, respect, and the mindset needed to develop as a complete martial artist.
Train under an instructor who actively tests, studies, and refines his craft through pressure, adaptability, and continued learning.
Train with purpose.

Had the chance to work with a student visiting from Australia 🇦🇺
Always a unique experience meeting people who travel this far to immerse themselves in Filipino Martial Arts.
This sessions centered on long range and medium range defense, along with sharpening efficient movement throughout.
Much respect for coming out here to the Philippines 🇵🇭 and putting in the effort.
Safe journey home, and keep building on what we started here.

Great training session with a student who flew in from Hawaii.
Moments like these remind me how far Filipino Martial Arts can reach different backgrounds, same mindset in training. Always respect that kind of commitment, especially making the trip out here to train.
Nothing but good sessions, great attitude, and real work put in. Truly appreciate the time and trust.
Enjoy the rest of your travels and keep the training going back home.

Had such a great time the past few days working with a new student visiting all the way from Germany 🇩🇪
It’s always inspiring to connect through Filipino Martial Arts and see how passion goes beyond borders.
Sharing what I do here in the Philippines 🇵🇭 with people from different parts of the world is something I never take for granted.
Grateful for the trust, the energy, and the experience.
Safe travels and hope to see you again soon!
